Praise & Prayers

PRAISES:

On my trip to WV on Wednesday I was 4 cars behind a car that was wiped out by a semi. I stopped just as four strangers pulled the man from the smoking car, a minute later it was completely engulfed in flames. For almost two hours we stood on the side of the road as they life-flighted the driver to the hospital, the police took pictures & measurements and they took statements. Then those of us in the crash area were released to leave, so they could clean up the road.

The wreck really shook me up, you see if I was either four cars forward, I would have been the one hit, and if I was four cars back I would have been stuck at the scene for at least five more hours and not made my trip. Also, the four self-less people that pulled the man from the car -- that is a true picture of the American spirit -- the driver, as rough as he looked did not have life threatening injuries -- if those four people did not pull him out, he would have burned to death before our very eyes. God is so amazing!

The next praise is that Ethan's school had their 15 year anniversary celebration. Ethan did so good in their performance. Also, the Beta team did a ministry drama on God's love and protection of His children, out of 4,000 private and public school Beta clubs they took first in the state with a Drama about God! They are going to Nationals in June. God is using our children of all ages and we are so thankful to the school, teachers & staff that help us train him in the ways of the Lord.

PRAYERS:

I received an email this week from the Oversease HR Group requesting an updated copy of my resume to review prior to scheduling my interview for the jobs they are considering me for. Please pray that God will continue to guide us as we seek His will.

My West Virginia trip was also a great networking opportunity, not just for the Overseas program, but also for other job possibilities.

The job at the military hospital has also posted and closes out next week...so to say the least, there are many opportunities that are presenting themselves at this time. I know the direction we feel drawn to, but we are praying that we will know with the opening and closing of doors, not just based on a hunch.

We also know whatever happens it will most likely be a quick transition process required, so pray for us as we try to begin to prepare for the possibility of moving -- yard sales, house repairs, cleaning out, and all the paperwork we will have to do, pray that things will continue to move quickly & smoothly.

Thank you as always for your prayers & love, our family truly cherish each one.
