Mother's Day is such a wonderful time of year...definitely a time to reflect on all of God's blessings, and of course to compare how much we really are like our moms!
My two blessings from above:
This week my guys surprised me with my gift early...Ethan wanted me to wear it to his Chapel service conducted by his class on Wednesday - Isn't it pretty!?!
The praise band performed, then Ethan's class presented a mother's day piece based on Proverbs 31. Ethan's part was based on Proverbs 31:26:
A good mother..."speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction is on her tongue."
He did such a great job!
This is Ethan & his teacher, Mrs. Baker - she is such a sweet, godly lady. Ethan has really grown and learned much this year under her instruction.
In addition to the gift, my hubby has cooked us yummy meals this week...Monday was Meatloaf, Tuesday - Chicken Walnut Stirfry & Tonight was breakfast for dinner - Turkey Bacon, Omelets, Biscuits, Fruit & Juice - soooo good!
While Nate & Ethan cooked dinner - Isaiah & I went out to the yard to look at our flowers & plants -- of course Isaiah wanted to swing!
After dinner we went to the park for an hour of playtime, then home to bed.
I am so thankful for my hubby & boys...God has been so good to us and we are so excited about His future plans, although unknown to us at this time. We are claiming His promises and praising Him for His blessings.
Also, sending prayers & praise out on behalf of the Wyatts this week. They finally received their referral for beautiful baby Lennon. She will be here from Korea in a few more months - Yeah!
