Ethan shares his Faith in Christ with Baptism

Sunday, January 31, 2010 our Ethan took a step of faith and obedience in Christ and shared his testimony of salvation with our church and family when he was baptized. When Ethan accepted Christ as his Savior in October, he went forward and shared with our church and called his grandparents, aunts, and uncles to share his good news.

Our church is very supportive in providing the classes to ensure that children that come forward are sure of the decision they have made and preparing them for their relationship with Christ through offering an I'm a Christian Now class. Once the children have completed the class, then they may come forward for baptism. We are really happy that they have a class that really helps kids get a grasp on the meaning of what they have done & celebrate with them their decision.

Thank you to Ms. Robin our Children's Director for setting the framework with programs and true love for these kids in their growth and decisions in Christ. Thank you to Ms. Shirley Davis & Sue Hamlin who taught the I'm a Christian Now class and Bro. Bob Sipper for baptising Ethan. Also, thank you to my parents & Uncle Allen for traveling through a snow storm to make this day special for Ethan, and than you to all of the family members who called, sent cards, and emails to help Ethan celebrate!

We are so happy for the decision you have made to trust Christ as you Lord and Savior. There is no greater decision you will make in life, nor a decision that we could hope and pray for more as parents. We will continue to encourage you growth as a Christian young man, that God will greatly bless and use your life to bring others to Him. We pray that you will always seek God's will in your life and live in such a way as to share your spiritual strength to witness to others. We love you so much!
