Saturday at the LBL

Last Saturday the weather was wonderful, so we headed to Land between the Lakes.

First we visited the Homeplace.




Aren't they just adorable!







It was kids day & there were booths with activities -

here we are relaxing on the porch...

or at least trying too!





I liked this quilt square -

wondering if we will take a "trip around the world" soon!?!




Here are a few of the animals...on the way there everytime we would pass a horse in the field, Isaiah would yell out "PIG!", so he was happy to see they had pigs...although they were difficult to photograph!





Most of the homes are original from the 1800s.



After the Homeplace we had a picnic at the Planetarium...

then we went to the Elk & Bison Range.

We saw three Elk in the distance, and this lone Bison right by the road -

didn't seem to mind at all our picture taking!




On the way home we stopped at a few yard sales in the 400 mile long yard sale!

Isaiah & Ethan enjoyed Pringles & ring pops...Isaiah's was blue!



We picked up a ping-pong & bumper pool table & the nice gentlemen delivered them & helped Nate move them into the basement - they were such a great deal & we have had a blast playing!

Ethan started Little League with the YMCA - 2 games this week. He has learned & improved so much from last year. We all have lots of fun at the park & now that I found &
