Celebrating with Isaiah!!!!

Our little guy just turned three years old! It is so hard to believe how quickly the time passes! It is also so wonderful to see how strong our little one has grown. When Ethan suggested his little brother's name to be "Isaiah" we never knew how true the meaning would be in his life. You see...

"...Isaiah means ~ God is my salvation"

When our bundle of joy was born, not only was he six weeks early, but the umbilical cord was wrapped twice around his neck...

...however, after twelve days in the NICU, God truly proved to be his salvation and we brought our little boy home!

It is a birthday tradition to look at the boys baby books on their birthday. Today I watched Isaiah as we looked at his picture book and there was such compassion and concern in his eyes as he looked at his hospital pictures...although I am sure he doesn't remember, just that look said it all, "Baby, I'm sorry you experienced this..."

However, God is good and it is comforting to know that out of the smallest acorns grow the strongest oak trees and out of the smallest babies can grow the most precious blessings!

So to back-track to the start of our day...Daddy made homemade biscuits & turkey sausage for breakfast!

Then D.D, Papa, and Uncle Allen came to visit and we headed to Clarksville for our birthday fun day! Toys-R-Us, Chic-fa-lee, and Chucky Cheese!

Playing Games at Chucky Cheese!

After games, Isaiah caught a much needed nap on the drive home and after a quick dinner we had cake and presents! So much fun!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Isaiah!!!!!

God has truly blessed us with two wonderful sons and we cannot wait to get our beautiful daughter!
